Would you like to book Bert-Jan van der Mieden for a classical improvisation concert or a special performance? This can be scheduled for a morning, afternoon or evening. Time slot, duration, location, if so desired with an introduction in advance and/or debriefing, to be determined in mutual consultation. Bookings are possible both in the Netherlands and abroad.
Classical piano improvisations are best expressed on a grand piano. If there is no such piano present, then one can be hired. Classic Improvisations can arrange for this, including tuning. There are also locations where a good quality (upright) piano might also suffice.
If so desired, performances can be recorded on DVD and/or CD.

APELDOORN - On Sunday 18 August, Classic Improvisations pianist Bert-Jan van der Mieden was a guest on the Radio Gelderland show Tendens.
Presenter Rinus van Warven interviewed Van der Mieden on topics such as the unique combination of text and music in his classical improvisations, how he came up with the piano sparks and the meaning of life. The show also played tracks from the new CD "From the Heart".
